How to Apply for NBI Clearance Online
Important Notes:
- Click ‘REGISTER’ not RENEWAL – your application will still be treated as renewal when our liaison officer presents your old NBI. If you have an old NBI account, you can re-use that one just make sure to update to your current abroad address and/or civil status if you are changing status. Once you have successfully created an account
- Fill-up all required fields about your personal information – for female applicants who are married, LAST NAME should remain as your Maiden Surname (even if you have already changed your surname to your husband’s surname). Make sure to fill-up your Parent’s Name and Birthplace too.
- Click APPLY FOR CLEARANCE (Appearance) – ignore the word ‘appearance’, our liaison officer will report to NBI on your behalf to submit all your legal documents
- Branch: Choose U.N. Avenue Manila (main branch) – type ‘MANILA’ for this branch to appear
- Payment Mode: GCASH (kami na po ang magbabayad via GCASH but you must select the payment mode and click ‘proceed’ para lumabas ang NBI online reference number
- Strictly abroad (NZ/AU address) niyo na po ang ilalagay pag nag online po kayo. Bawal po ang PH address dahil i-request po kayo ni NBI na mag personal appearance po.
- If you are changing civil status: If you are changing status from Single to Married MARRIED na po ang CIVIL STATUS na gamitin niyo pag online even if your passport is still showing your maiden name.
- Please do not turn on OTP (One-Time Password) or extra authentication as we need to access your NBI online account for final checking before we pay it and submit your documents to NBI. If you really want to turn this on, make sure you send us a screenshot of your NBI profile details via email.
- If you have an old/existing NBI online account you can re-use that but please update the address to your current abroad address and double check everything else are still correct and up-to-date.

STEP 4: Once you have completed all the steps and emailed us the requirements, please wait for our reply within 24 hours containing our bank account details so that you can make the required deposit.

NBI Renewal FAQs
How much does NBI Renewal cost?
Our rate is $125 all-in including shipping straight to your NZ/AU address. No hidden fees or surprise charges.
If I have an old / existing NBI online account, do I still need to create a new one?
No need to create a new one as long as you can still access it and update information like your current address and other details.
How long does NBI Renewal processing take?
Our normal processing time is 3โ7 business days.
Paano pag may HIT or naghi-HIT ako palagi?
We recommend processing early because applications with a HIT may take longer to complete.
Please let us know if the case belongs to you or if it is simply due to a namesake.
If your application receives a HIT, NBI may require additional documents such as an Affidavit or Court Clearance. Your NBI Clearance can still be released once all requirements are complied with.
In some cases, applicants who previously had a HIT no longer receive one when renewing through us. However, we will only know after the application has been submitted to NBI.
The only way to determine whether an application will have a HIT is after the application has been submitted.

Paano po pag wala akong PH mobile number?
Ok lang po kahit sa kamag-anak nyo lang na PH mobile number. Magsesend lang naman si NBI ng OTP para makapag-create kayo ng account.
Puwede po ba AU or NZ mobile number gamitin sa paggawa ng NBI online account?
Kailangan po ng PH mobile number, kahit sa kamag-anak nyo lang po. Magsesend lang naman si NBI ng OTP para makagawa kayo ng account.
What address should overseas applicants put in their NBI online account?
Please put your current NZ/AU address.
If you enter a Philippine address, NBI may require personal appearance.
Paano po pag mag-change ng status from Single to Married?
Make sure you select MARRIED as your Civil Status in your NBI online account if you are changing your status.
For female applicants, please note that your Last Name should remain your Maiden Surname. Enter your spouse’s surname in the Husband’s Surname field only.
You must also specify that you are requesting a civil status change when you email us your complete requirements.
I have applied for an NBI Clearance but having difficulty claiming it or following up on the status of my application, can I ask you to take over the processing?
Unfortunately, we cannot take over your existing application. But we can submit a new one for you. Same requirements and fees will apply.
