1. LTO will only issue an official receipt (wala pong ID card).
2. No more than 2 yrs expired.
3. Can only renew no more than 2 mos before expiry (not too early).
4. Makukuha lang ang ID card sa LTO Main branch (East Ave QC), after nyo mag photo-taking and biometrics for your new ID.

How much will it cost?
$125 all-in including shipping to your NZ/AU address.
How long is the processing time?
1-2 weeks is our normal processing time.
I have applied for a Driver’s License Renewal but having difficulty claiming it or following up on the status of my application, can I ask you to take over the processing?
Unfortunately, we cannot take over your existing application. But we can submit a new one for you. Same fees will apply.
Expired na ang driver’s license ko, pwede pa ba i-renew?
Yes, pwede po basta no more than 2 years expired.
Kapag more than 2 years expired na, kailangan na po itong i-renew nang personal sa susunod ninyong pag-uwi sa Pilipinas.
Makukuha ko ba ang bagong plastic card pag nag-renew?
Resibo (Renewal Receipt) lamang po ang ibinibigay ng LTO kapag nag-renew mula sa abroad.
Kailangan pa rin po ng photo taking at biometrics sa LTO Main para makuha ang plastic card.
Saan pwedeng i-claim ang card? Pwede ba sa kahit anong LTO branch?
Kung nag-renew po kayo mula sa abroad, sa LTO Main Branch sa East Avenue, Quezon City lamang maaaring makuha ang plastic card.
Ilang years ang ibinibigay ni LTO kapag nag-renew mula sa overseas/abroad?
5 years po ang validity na ibinibigay ng LTO kapag nag-renew kayo habang nasa labas ng Pilipinas.
Ano ang kailangan kong dalhin kapag pupunta ako sa LTO Main sa East Avenue para kunin ang plastic ID?
Dalhin lamang po ang inyong original passport at renewal receipt.
Kadalasan ay same-day process lamang at makukuha rin agad ang inyong ID.
Diretso po kayo sa loob ng LTO at mag-ingat sa mga fixer na nagkalat sa labas ng ahensya.
Pwede bang gamitin ang resibo para makapagmaneho sa Australia o New Zealand?
Hindi po namin ginagarantiya na tatanggapin ito ng kapulisan kung kayo ay maharang sa daan.
Mas mainam po na ma-convert ninyo agad ang inyong driver’s license sa AU/NZ driver’s license upang maiwasan ang anumang inconvenience.
Maaari bang i-convert sa AU/NZ driver’s license ang renewal receipt mula sa LTO?
For New Zealand: Oo, maaari po. Kailangan lamang mag-apply ng exemption (dahil wala pang plastic ID) at umorder ng second document mula sa amin na tinatawag na LTO Certificate.
For Australia: Maaari rin po, ngunit kailangang ipa-Apostille muna ang LTO Certificate bago ito magamit para sa driver’s license conversion.
Makipag-ugnayan pa rin po nang direkta sa mga ahensyang nagpo-proseso nito upang makumpirma kung ito pa rin ang kasalukuyang proseso.
Paano kung hindi ko na makita ang huli kong ticket o boarding pass?
Subukan po ninyong hanapin sa inyong email gamit ang keyword na “ITINERARY” upang mahanap ang inyong huling flight ticket.
Hindi po namin mare-renew ang inyong driver’s license kung wala nito dahil ito ang patunay na kayo ay nasa labas ng bansa.
